As any other form of cultural creation, films are influence by the context in which they are
created. From the plotlines to the characters, every element of the films that have been produced
in the world’s studios have been influenced by their social, cultural, and political movements of
their time and place. As a result, calmly the films of the 1950s and the films of the 2010's are going
to be significantly different. Even in the way in which the films were shot performances by the
actors pushed, time has changed a lot in the big screen. The works created in Hollywood are no
exception to these trends. To see its evolution, though, it is easier if one were to focus on one
matter -- gender representation. Women have been a part of Hollywood productions from the very
beginning. Headlining a scene, designing wardrobe, or directing cameras we would have held a
variety of jobs in this realm. Yet, display the important role that we will play in the making
ourselves, these figures are often relegated to fulfill a variety of sexist tropes, supporting positions
from or complete invisibility. That is not to say the progress has not been made; and what has
changed since this tradition began, but I'd love has remained ...
