Introduction
I.T. processes in organizational management are influential in determining the successes
or failures of an organization and its constituent business processes. Digital processes in a
company’s proceedings are responsible for data management, data analytics, communication
coordination and evaluation, and measurements of progress in a firm’s setup. The management
of such activities is, therefore, vital in establishing the overall efficacy of the company, and as
such, I.T. operations require adequate attention from both the employees and managers of a
company. Unfortunately, though, most companies are yet to incorporate relevant business
practices in their I.T. operations and therefore are unable to optimally benefit from the I.T.
operations that characterize their various activities. However, there are measures that could result
in the realization of objectives to integrate business practices into I.T. operations, and such
measures and their impacts are the subjects of the paper herein.
Approaching I.T. Operations as a Process
I.T. operations in most companies play a supporting role in the management and
operational aspects of an organization. Consequently, the top brass in most companies always
