The Elegant Universe is book authored by Brian Greene. Brian Randolph Green is a
professor of theoretical physics and Mathematics at the Columbia University. He is one of the
prominent string theorists. Green has worked on a specific class of symmetry known as mirror
symmetry. He is well known to a broader audience for his work on the popularization of
theoretical physics specifically string theory and the hunt for a unified theory of physics. He is a
theoretical physicist and string theorist within his own right, making him well-qualified to cover
