Historiography: Hong Kong Protests
Historiography focusses on the way an event got approached and how it got written. It
also deals with the conflicting objectives that different authors wrote about it over time.
Historiography also involves the way such factors shape people's understanding of the real event
and the nature of history. The Hong King riots is a recent event that has attracted widescale
attention globally. The nature of the riots and the surrounding factors influencing it are worth the
attention it gets. Several matters are at stake in this case, such as democratic rights of protestors,
human rights, among others. The Hong Kong riots are anti-government protests that have since
rocked Hong Kong from June, and there seems to be no end in sight. The protests that started in
June were due to the tabled bills that sought to extradite individuals to mainland China. Several

opinion worldwide. It also discusses the specific number of nations that so far came out in

battle on the global scale is a loose situation for the Chinese Communist Party. He also
