The social construction of reality is a theory that was coined by Peter Burger and Thomas
Luckmann. The theory argues that people are socialized into a social system, which, over time,
creates a mental representation of the actions of each other. However, generated representations
form a habituated reciprocation of the roles of actions of each other. The theory also argues that
if the formed roles are availed to other members of the society, their actions are reciprocated.
This happens to the extent of being referred to as institutionalized roles in the social context.
The theory is strong because it understands the situation and the experiences of
individuals in the social equations. When people are together, they tend to behave in a certain
way, as advocated by this theory. The behaviors are analyses and understood within the context
of what they tend to achieve. The theory also understands the context of the social equation,
