The director of photography uses various camera viewpoints in the movie. For instance,
the long shot is used in a particular scene where Mookie is crossing a street. Also, the medium
close up shot is used when Mookie and Pino are discussing racist stereotypes (Yale Film Studies,
2019). Also, the close-up shot is used when capturing the scene of an Asian man standing next to
his fruit stand. Lastly, a bridging shot is used when indicating the passage of time between two
scenes.
