The Concept of Leadership versus Management
Leadership is the act of bringing skills together, creating a vision, and also showing the
direction to the rest of the team to reach a specific set of goals and objectives. It also implies the
ability of an individual to make a proper decision and also motivate others to perform the assigned
task correctly to achieve set objectives. One of the main characteristics of a leader is that they can
easily adapt or cope with a change in circumstances and are also flexible. Hughes (2005) states
