Introduction
The single parenthood family setup has increasingly grown to be a common scenario with
the ordinary day society. Factors leading to the single parenthood set up vary from one family to
another as people are faced with different pasts and histories. The given summary, in this case,
portrays information obtained from this kind of a family setup. When carrying out the interview,
a deep focus on the family history information, the family support systems, and the transition
that occurred towards the realization of single parenthood were keenly taken into consideration.
The family history and present composition are represented within a family genogram provided.
The children are similarly described to have experienced different challenges from the original
family setup that grew to be unhealthy, thereby driving the single parenthood into formation.
Despite being a challenging situation at times, entry into single parenthood becomes one of the
best decisions at times to facilitate personal and children’s well-being.
