Economic Analysis

The economic analysis involves examining different economic variables collected from
various states in the USA. The attributes under statistical evaluation include poverty rate,
unemployment rate, University, and average Income earned in different States. The data reveals
continuous variables measured as ratio scales. The purpose of this paper is to provide insights
from the selected economic variables, which includes frequencies, and numeric measurement,
diagram.
Frequency Tables
The tables below reveal the frequencies for different economic variables under statistical
scrutiny. Frankfort-Nachmias and Leon-Guerrero (2018) noted that frequency tables depict the
number of occurrences in which a single unit is repeating in an array.

Inference
From the frequency table above, it is evident that 28 American States has a poverty rate between
10.1 % and 15.0 %. One the other hand, 11 US states revealed a poverty rate between 5.1 and
10.0 percent, while ten US states depicted a poverty rate between 15.1 and 20.0 percent.
Nonetheless, only a single state had a poverty rate above 20.1 percent among the 50 American
states.

Inference
From the table above, 25 American states depicted an unemployment rate between 4.1 % and 6.0
%, while 15 States revealed a rate between 6.1 % and 8.0 percent out of the total 50 American
States in the dataset. Subsequently, 9 out of the 50 States showed an unemployment rate between
2.1 and 4.0 percent and one state depicting the unemployment rate above 8.1 percent.

Inference
The table above reveals that 26 American states had a university enrollment rate between
18.1 and 27.0 percent, with 22 States depicting an enrollment rate between 27.1 % and 36.0%.
Nonetheless, one US state had an enrollment rate to the university below 18.0%, while only one
American State had an enrollment rate above 36.1 percent out of the 50 American States.
