ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP VERSUS MANAGEMENT
Leaders and managers are very critical people in an organization. They are the ones
responsible for corporate success or downfall; therefore, for an organization to be successful, it
should have excellent leaders and managers. The roles of managers and leaders may sometimes
overlap, but their differences still exist. For instance, some managers may have the
characteristics of leaders, while others have managerial skills only and no leadership skills. In a
healthy organization, the duties and responsibilities of leaders usually mesh well with the roles
and responsibilities of managers.
An organization is a group of people that have common interests, visions, and goals.
Therefore, these people should always work together to achieve these goals. In any organization,
there are leaders and managers whose responsibilities and duties is to guide the organization to
achieve their set goals and visions. For this reason, leaders and managers should always work
