Evaluation of compensation packages
Different countries around the globe attract various forms of compensation based on the
location of the latter country. As such, due to vast geographical differences, it is essential to
consider the employees’ compensation packaging programs because they are the essential
informants of the success of any organization. The organization’s compensation package should
focus on attracting and retaining and rewarding employees competently with such designs that
help in the growth of an individual’s career. In another note, it is worth remembering that the
compensation packages should match the best of the job descriptions, analysis and appropriate
payment structure that is satisfactory to all employees. In this case, my position as a human
resource manager would consider what Kanungo & Mendocca (2017) discusses about
compensation packages. They say that managers should consider the standards and different
cultures in the various countries assigned to operate from, which I find as the best applicable and
appropriate approach for the organization’s success. In so doing, I will be in a position to determine
and evaluate the expectations of such employees considering the working conditions that they are
exposed to. Different countries have different working conditions ranging from social, economic,
legal and cultural provisions by either the society or the government at large.
Therefore, I would be careful in selecting such factors in the creation of my compensation
philosophy. My compensation plan would be inclusive and in consideration of such factors as
incentives, benefits and performance bonuses. It is a fact that employees are ever focusing on their
attention by configuring the much in terms of the monetary value they are being paid in comparison
with what other employees in the same industry are being paid while in similar positions.
Therefore, in my compensation package plan, it would be prudent for me to evaluate by finding
out what other competitors in the industry are offering in terms of pay and compensation of their
