I don’t understand this Psychology question and need help to study.

A four page typed research paper is required discussing an issue which is "disorders of mood: the effect of affect". The APA format is required with 12-point font. I need atleast two research articles that will need to be cited. The questions that need to be answered in the research paper:

1. What is disordered mood?

2. Describe different disorders of mood. (major depressive disorder/ bipolar disorders)

3. What are the caused of disordered mood? (compare and contrast behavioral, social cognitive, and biological explanations for depression and other disorders of mood)

Introduction
Emotions represent one aspect of human beings. At times, one may feel extremely happy
due to a positive outcome or experience in their life. At other times, it is possible for one to feel
down and in the dumps as a result of various unpleasant consequences in their life, which may
include financial challenges, relationship issues, and grief, among others. These emotions are
normal and part of life and have little or no impact on the life of the bearer. However, there are
times one develops such moods and become so pronounced that they affect the day to day
activities of the bearer. When it gets to such a point, a victim of such moods is said to be
suffering from a mood disorder. The severity, frequency, and intensity of changes in mood vary
from case to case. The discussion below gives an in-depth analysis of mood disorder to identify
what it is, its associated disorders, and the factors that lead to its development.
Analysis of what is disordered mood
Disordered mood refers to a state of mind that is unable to respond to occurrences in a
normal way but profoundly responds to them disrupting the activities of the bearer. The above
