Compare between Amazon AWS cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Open Stack cloud
The comparison between Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS Cloud, and Open Stack Cloud will
focus on three dimensions mainly scalability, virtual servers, and billing.
Scalability. Open Stack uses Heat with Autoscaling for scalability. Heat deploys and configures
several instances in a single command using Open Stack resources. It can create instances from
images on existing networks or configure LBaas for load balancing (Shrivastwa, Sarat, Jackson,
Bunch, Sigler & Campbell, 2016). Azure uses Azure AutoScaling for scalability. The feature
helps the cloud perform its best when demand changes (Microsoft Azure, 2018). Lastly, Barr
(2018) indicates that AWS utilises AWS Auto Scaling. The feature is effective at adjusting
capacity to guarantee robust performance at the lowest cost.
Virtual Servers. AWS utilises the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). The EC2
delivers secure and resizable computing capacity that developers can utilise to obtain and
configure capacity at a lower friction (Amazon EC2, 2019). Conversely, Microsoft cloud uses
