Theory is a non-technical book Brian Randolph Greene (2010) that explains string and
superstring theory while offering a comprehensive assessment of the topic as well as challenging
areas of the same. The author, Brian Randolph Greene, is a mathematician, string theorists, and
theoretical physicist. Born and residing in the United States, Greene is a professor at Columbia
University, a position he has held since 1996 (Venables, 2013). He has described flop transition
and worked on mirror symmetry. Greene also co-founded the World Science Festival, a
foundation whose mission is to grow a general public informed by science and has been the
Chairman since. Equally, Greene has authored numerous other books for the general public
