Description
A 250-500 word description of your final project and plan for completing it. At minimum your proposal should 1.) identify main film(s) and at least one aspect of Lee’s work (i.e. aesthetics, politics, and/or authorship) your project will discuss; 2.) a “thesis” statement that articulates a critical, argumentative position your project will take viz. Lee, his films, aesthetics, politics, or authorial practices. These requirements should be met from wherever in the process you are at; i.e. these are not binding commitments but decisions (albeit potentially tentative) aimed at establishing a starting point for your work. Beyond these requirements, your proposal is an opportunity to get started on the project by detailing a structure for your project, composing specific research questions, honing a particular critical stance, and/or laying out potential areas for your project to explore.
