Racial and socioeconomic inequality at school is a common phenomenon. This is risky,
especially when the educator does not play their roles. Diversity at school creates significant
problems in the education sector since it can easily propagate such social issues to society. When
the teacher is not mindful of the diversity in class, it poses a challenge to have things in control
in class and solve diversity issues in class. Therefore, the organization needs to consider
culturally and linguistically students into consideration. This is the only way that can make the
students and teachers interact and communicate appropriately to empower both.
To support culturally and linguistically diverse students, the tutors should utmost respect
to the diverse class to create an opportunity to deliver education and avoid causing psychological
problems to the students. This is important to both the learner and the teacher. It also requires the
teacher to embrace diversity and learn the basics of the student culture and language differences
and show respect for such students to avoid discrimination.
