Going through my readings, one theme that reflects most in all is that one of the
willingness to learn new things in life. This is a philosophical concept that many people are not
ready to understand since they believe that they are perfect. It is every person for himself/herself.
This theme tells me several things about how I try to approach life. From a young age, I always
had the idea that my point of view was always the best. Though at such a young age, it had not
developed. Now I see it clearly after going through the articles in this course. For instance, I see
diversity in learning styles. I am not the only one that does well in this course; we are many. This
indicates that my way of doing things is not the best. I now see why I often seek for help.
Nevertheless, if my way of doing things is the only one perfect, why am I taking this course? I
