Introduction
Child abuse can either be physical, sexual, or psychological torture (Smith, Robinson and
Segal, 2019). Children are vulnerable beings and are susceptible to any form of abuse. This theory
explains why protection is necessary for their well-being. Rough upbringing will give rise to longtime repercussions like burglary, mentally disturbed, and violent children. The affected will go as
far as passing on the hate to their loved ones once they reach adulthood. This abuse is the reason
why child protection against the victims should be initiated to save the situation.
Several instances, such as beating up kids for no apparent reason, molestation, and giving
them strenuous jobs, have ruled the airwaves. Child protection services are not fulfilling their
mandate of looking out for the kids experiencing these grave situations. It is so unfortunate that
breach of the children's laws is rampant, and the perpetrators are left scot-free to torment other
miserable kids. Children should be brought up in a friendly environment with love and care.
However, this is not the case. They are taken advantage of because they are still naïve and afraid
to speak it out. Many kids go through this. It is only that observation of these forms of abuse are
discoverable during the last minute.
Child abuse also includes neglection. Neglect is common in cases of alcoholic parents. The
child lacks access to basic needs such as food, shelter, education, and clothing. Children are the
future leaders of tomorrow. The way you treat them now is what they will portray in future
leadership. The best way to prepare them for leadership in various aspects is to shower them with
love, care and guidance. As they grow up, these virtues are inculcated in them and will pass on to
