My Ideal Leader
In my case, the ideal leader should be transformative, for example, Franklin Delano
Roosevelt. Notably, the transformative leader has the innate drive to make a positive change in
the lives of other people. Such a leader will challenge the status quo by making changes that
might be termed to be radical (Cherry, 2019). Hence, the leader will encourage creativity and
push the followers to start using new methods of doing things since it will provide them with the
opportunity to learn. As well, a leader who governs using this style will ensure that there is a
supportive environment where there are open lines of communication with the followers. That
means there will be open sharing of ideas and the recognition of those who have made unique
contributions. Moreover, transformative leaders will have a detailed vision that they can
