Written materials RESEARCH BASED QUESTION (RBQ): In the last decade, the united states have suffered a great deal from the overuse of opioid drugs. The misuse of this drug has led to fatal death among the American population. To make the matter worse the fact that these drugs can be bought over the counter and also the existence of greed, traders are resulting in a sorry state of the event in the United States. The availability of drugs such as oxycodone and hydrocodone as painkillers have been misused. With the current situation, it calls for the government and the stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry to come together and develop laws on the use and prescription of these drugs. The severity of the situation needs to be handled before it turns into a nightmare in the United States.
