Delaware State University Physics experiment Pendulum Lab Report
This one is a little different--you get to take the measurements!! (Finally!) We are not doing the experiment that is laid out in the lab manual, so there is no video and no data sheet. The instructions for this lab are all in the worksheet. This experiment can be run on the PhET (link in the worksheet) OR you can choose to do it yourself at home as long as you have the following equipment: String, steady place to tie the string, ruler, stopwatch, mass that can be attached to the string and doubled (for example, you can use one shoe as the first mass and both shoes as the doubled mass). Make sure to indicate on the worksheet if you are making your own instead of using the PhET. If you cannot weigh your mass, that is fine, as long as you mark what object you used on the worksheet.

3.19 Summarize the case of the Atlantic cod. In your response, specifically address the following points:What method is most commonly used to extract cod? What are the environmental consequences of this method? What is the evidence that cod are being overfished? What remedies have governments enacted to help restore cod populations?

Were the results the same for all the locations in your field study, or different? How do the areas you monitored compare in air pollution? Based on your knowledge of the area, give a possible explanation for the differences. Include a table showing the results of your monitoring of local air quality.
What differences, if any, did you observe in Air Quality Index and particulate matter concentration from day to day? State a possible explanation. Include a table of Air Quality Index and concentration of particulate matter during the time span of the field study.
Graph monthly air quality data for your chosen area over the past six months. Which times of year had the best air quality, and which had the worst? What trends do you see if any? Think of possible reasons for trends or lack of them. What additional data would you want to know in order to determine a more solid explanation?
