Leadership is a continuous process. It thus very crucial for all stakeholders in leadership
to comprehend their activities and ensure that the success of the other people. Innovation is very
vital in any business to ensure that the team thrives or flourishes even during hard economic
times. Following the observation and interaction with Riverbend City, the two leadership styles
include strategic leadership and democratic leadership. Democratic leadership is a leadership
style whereby all stakeholders and members of the organization are involved in decision making
(Nanjundeswaraswamy & Swamy, 2014). As such, it enhances innovation because there is the
use of diverse minds. Communication in democratic leadership can either be top-down or updown. As such, the information flow is smooth, and every member or stakeholder has an equal
chance and opportunity to sir their opinions. In such practice, innovation has excellent potential
for thriving.
In strategic leadership, the managers influence other stakeholders to make decisions to
ensure the long-term success of the organization while maintaining financial stability. The style
enables other employees or stakeholders to pursue their best strategic visions, enhancing
innovation. The manager serves a link between various departments. In strategic leadership,
communication is so robust, as the managers get to interact with different stakeholders. The
managers lay down the strategic vision, persuade and motivate the stakeholders to pursue those
