1.  Using your source material, demonstrate in writing how your organization will adhere to government regulatory requirements.  What kind of human resource policies will your organization have in place and why?  How will your organization deal with issues such as overtime, workplace injury prevention, drug testing, sexual harassment?  

2. How will your organization plan to carry out specific tasks in your workplace and at different job-sites?

3. What type of fire-related procedures will you use in your office or workplace?  How will this conform to NFPA requirements?  If you are consulting other businesses what type of fire regulation requirements will you identify?

4. If your organization is contracting with a federal, state, or local government, how will you align your policies with those of the organization you have contracted with?

Regulations on private security companies (PSC) were initially established during the
second half of the twentieth century. The regulations mainly control the private security
companies’ registration, resources, and security personnel training (Mccrie, 2017). In
correspondence, my security business will adhere to the established government regulatory
requirements outlined in the Private Security Services Act (2019). This paper will examine
the regulations that my security company will adhere to in order to be in compliance to the
established federal requirements. This will also include discussing the HR policies that will
ensure employee safety as well as increase our performance. Additionally, the paper will
discuss the fire safety procedures that will be used in offices or workplaces as well as how
they how they conform to the NFPA requirements. Lastly, the paper will present how my
security company plans to resolve the possible conflicts between my company’s policies and
the contracting organization’s policies.
My security company will begin offering its security services to its clients after
completion of its registration with the Private Security Regulatory Authority. Moreover, the
company will also present its equipment, which will be used to offer security services, to the
authority for inspection and approval. The equipment to be presented for inspection will
consist of firearms, vehicles, and company uniforms, among others. Furthermore, it will be
mandatory for all employees in the company to undergo training on security services. The
training will be carried out through a partnership with the Bureau of Security and
Investigative Services.
My security company will also focus on effective Human Resources management,
whereby the company’s human resources make up a core component of the company. Human

Resource policies have the ability to increase a company’s performance through effective
management of its human resources. In addition, HR policies also impact a company’s
productivity by indirectly steering the company towards achieving its set goals and long-term
vision. The Human Resource policies established in the company will focus in empowering,
motivating, and supporting our employees. First of all, the HR policies will involve
establishing wages for employees in line with the set minimum wages with regard to the Fair
Labor Standards Act (2009). This will also include remittance and deduction of all statutory
deductions outlined in the law.
In addition, the employees will receive overtime pay for hours worked after reaching
their scheduled hours per week; that is, forty hours in a week. Furthermore, the Human
Resource department will also roll out a computerized system that will record and store basic
details of the employees such as, employee’s full name, address, regular hourly pay rate,
