Each data source can take either form. A researcher can select one of the sources as long as it
shows credibility and validity and seeks to provide a viable solution to the problem.

Peer-reviewed Journals. They are considered primary sources of data. According to Eastern
Washington University Research Guide (2019), primary sources are first-hand (original) data
collected through interviews, surveys, and other methods. It can be qualitative or quantitative.
Peer-reviewed authors collect and use this kind of data to develop existing theories or formulate
new models. They also use it to publish new data about a particular research phenomenon, thus
