In the contemporary world, diversity has characterized every aspect of teaching and
learning activities in nursing. As a profession, nursing entails meeting and interacting with a
diverse population, thus calling for comprehensive expertise and knowledge regarding the vital
aspects of nursing that makes a nurse able to succeed in their setting (Bastable, 2013).
Throughout this course, I have experienced a series of lessons, through theoretical and practical
learning processes and strategies, that have and will continue developing and creating a
knowledge-based foundation in learning and teaching in nursing education in a diverse world.
Through the eight modules, I have interacted with different topics and lessons that have
facilitated and developed learning in cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. Also, with
the increase in technology and the impacts it has in everyday life and activities, especially in the
learning and teaching sector in nursing, this course have played a significant role in showing and
illustrating, both in applied and theoretical ways, these significances and the outcomes of
