Data is a massive amount of data that contains diverse types of information. Such information
grows at a different rate. Big Data has information on the volume, what is the speed the data is
collected, and the different variety of data points covered. The Big Data originates from various
sources through various formats. Big Data works in a unique way categorized into two categories,
which include structured and unstructured. The structured data is the information that is managed and
organized by the respective organization (Pentland, et al., 2014). Data organization is done on either
the organization's database or the spreadsheets. The classified information is generally presented in
numeric form. The unstructured data is a unorganized and does not fall in any particular format. The
unorganized data are collected from areas like social media. The information is used to help the
customer get what they want from their clients.
