The last quarter of the 19th century gave rise to many industrialized issues, questioning the behaviors of a few, thus, it was social activism that generated topical issues of political reform. Perhaps the most successful results were that of new labor laws, reform of working conditions, and that of conservation, both ecological and humanistic. Yes, WWI is regarded as a Progressive Conflict, its entire implication gave rise to freedoms of those whom were oppressed under slavery, thus, and humanity’s behaviors were ultimately redirected to liberties. Although many efforts were taken to ensure fairness, major failure included inequality for our so called “inferior” colored population.
