psychological factors that contribute to crime and deviance within our society today.

The perspective of criminology suggests that a person who breaks the law does so with
rational free will and he understands the effects of their action. It shows how crime is not as a
result of social factors but biological factors that lead to criminal behaviors by people. In the
classical perspective of criminology, a society ought to enforce a punishment fitting the type of
crime committed. Classical does not consider compassion, irrational behaviors, and obsessions.
On the other hand, the biological perspective of criminology focuses mostly on the
uncontrollable aspect of persons and genetic alterations. It looks at the likelihood that a person
