Both India and China had similar health outcomes at the end of WWII. Unlike India, China’s health improved tremendously over the next 30 years. When it did not have a focus on economic growth, China’s health achievements surpassed India. Since the economic reforms 30 years ago, health progress in China has not been growing as much. Today, India is booming and is home to some of the richest people in the world, but it is also home to more food insecurities than anywhere else in the world.

Introduction/thesis statement: The current century is considered the Asian’s phase of
the world’s evolution. After many centuries, Asia is regarded as the continent in which the
general growth and development, in many of its domains, are at their peaks. In fact, India and
China are the leading economic and population powers in Asia. India and China are at the
center of economic developments in the South-East Asia. In fact, according to Wagner, these
two countries have been rivals as well as partners for years, conflicting strategies that have
seen them lead Asia towards its economic greatness. However, despite their array of
similarities, China and India are also dissimilar in many other aspects, including their policies
and its related practices. Since these are key players in the running of a country, China and
India also features a range of health outcomes for which they have had varying experiences
