Our leadership styles are insightful as it can be detrimental whether or not the
organization and its personnel will flourish. The ways in which a person views leadership helps
us to comprehend why they perform certain tasks to achieve goals. Per John Gardner, in On
Leadership, “Leadership is the process of persuasion by which an individual persuades a group
to pursue objectives held by the leader or shared by the leader and his or her follower.”
Therefore, a leadership style is simply the way in which it will be performed. When it comes to
learning about leadership styles, my assessment seemed to be a pretty accurate account. I chose
to take a Leadership Legacy quiz constructed by authors Robert Galford and Regina Mauca, and
the results were certainly enlightening.

As we learned this week, our leadership styles reveal how we will relate to others. This
encompasses not only who we work with day to day, but also those who work outside an
