ROUGH DRAFT

Answer 1
Determining what lures people to terrorism and its relationship to the message they sent is not a
easy task. In fact according to Horgan (2008), people are not likely volunteering as experimental
subjects that can lead to erroneous consequences. In fact, terrorism can be viewed as freedom
fighting if viewed from the political paradigm giving an example of dozens of Palestinian suicide
bombers supported by millions of Arabs in the Middle East. Horgan has helped explain the lure
to terror through a number of interviews to more than 60 former terrorists who agree that
terrorists are not pathological in any traditional sense. Often, people turn to radicalization and
terrorist recruitment due to reasons such as feeling of alienation or disfranchised, believe that the
current political system does not give them power, believe in taking action rather than talking
about the problem, believe that joining such forces rewards with adventure and heightened social
identity. Before, asking ourselves about the message terrorists sent to the general public, such
causes are very important. This relationship can be viewed from the political lens. Terrorism can
be viewed as the ‘warfare of the weak’ often joined by groups who lack power to fight
oppressive powers. Therefore, this takes us back to the early principle of ‘legal justice.’ Terrorist
groups and government actions all interplay. For instance, when a terrorist commit a crime, the
government directs excessive punishment to all allied people as a sentiment message to its
citizens. In the same equation, terrorists may justify their attacks on innocent when responding to
neglecting, corruptions, violence of the government and many more. Therefore, the cause/motive
and message of terrorism interplay at the pivot point of the equation, legal punishment.
The 7th July attacks also called the London Bombing 2005 were well coordinated suicide
bombings on the London transit system on this date. At 8:50am is the morning, 39 people were
killed when three explosions tore trains on the London underground. After one hour, another
bomb was detonated on the upper decker of a bus in Tailstock Square killing 13 more people. In
the four attacks, more 700 people were injured. The cycle of terrorism has become so obsolete
and needs aggressive intelligence mechanisms rather than military evolution. From the London
bombings 2005, terrorists use technology to coordinate attacks in their own networks. The cycle,
they also engage in collaborative efforts aimed at maximizing their damages. In this response,
terrorists target public places with a very large number of people such as bus stations. In a
different instance, terrorists today utilize the available resource to maximize capacity.
Specifically, large machines such as trains and aircrafts can be used as weapons to mass
destruction. A terrorist can hijack a train and redirect it to a place when masses exist. While
security mechanisms get a close scrutiny to terrorism, terror also evolves. Such groups such as
ISIS are making use of latest technology to coordinate attacks and their networks throughout the
world. This makes it hard to detect and prevent attacks.
Answer 2
Fundamentalism, extremism and terrorism often dominate the Islam, Christians and other
belief’s imagination. Let’s take for instance, religions hailing from places such as turkey, Egypt,

Iran and Yemen, extremism exists because all other places from the east are a religious void.
This is the dichotomy market by prudent between fundamentalism and extremism. To radicals,
extremism would be a better term especially to those who commit crimes in the name of religion.
Fundamentalism on the other hand ushers free of heretics, people who commit themselves to
utmost devotion. Therefore, extremism refers to the intense misuse of religion although it may
not result to violence. Fundamentalism is meticulous belief and adherence to a set of beliefs,
mostly religious. Mahatma Gandhi was a fundamentalist in this sense. He had personal protest
belief against civil disobedience in the ancient Indian religion of Jainism. Moderation, fortunate
common sense and reasonable judgment separa...
