This is one the most famous quotes of Zig Ziglar, in my point of view this statement is giving a sense of human nature, if I am going out to shop something, for example a show, I'll find the top quality that should not have any fault at all, in the same way when I go out to find a friend I'll be more curious and wanting someone sinless like an angel, while on the other hand if I am going to be a friend I will be demanding that my friend should ignore my faults and mistakes. This statement is nicely expressing human nature about selecting someone for rewarding and getting selected for rewarding from someone, when I am selector I will find faults and mistakes in everyone and when I am being selected for reward I will be anxious to get selecting and my mistakes or faults should be ignore or remained hidden from selector. This is what this statement says "If you go out looking for friends, you're going to find they are very scarce. If you go out to be a friend, you'll find them every where. I am strongly agree with this statement as it is all about my own nature, when selecting some for my friendship I consider him/her scarce and when I am being selected for friendship I will be thinking myself to be a very sincere, so if I consider everyone sincere I will find friends everywhere.
