Running head: BRAINSTORMING REPORT Brainstorming Report Student’s Name Institution Date 1 BRAINSTORMING REPORT 2 Brainstorming Report In the past one year, our company sales have been dropping. This can be attributed to increased competition in the market. Our company is a telecommunication company which provides telecommunication services. Due to growth in technology, the industry has been growing rapidly with increased competition. The increased competition has resulted to drop in our sales and something needs to be done before the sales drop furthers. The company needs to come up with a strategy to overcome the competition and to boost its sales. To find a solution to the issue, our boss has asked for a report on the issue after brainstorming. The drop in the sales means that the customers are no buying our products as they used to. It is an indication that the number of our customers is dropping. Due to an increase of competitors in the markets, the customers are probably getting better deals and offers from the competitors. The company should, therefore, come up with strategies to draw back customers. By gaining more customers, the sales with raise again. One of the ways that the company can use to attract customers is through good customer experience. No matter how the competition is, the company can attract customers and boost its sales through a good customer service (Scarborough, 2016). People like to get services and to buy goods from places where they are treated well and with respect. They love attention and when they get a good customer service, they return to enjoy the good experience again. People rarely forget a good customer experience and this makes them not only return but also share with others. This is, therefore, a strategy that our company can use to attract more customers. The company can also use its customers to advertise the business through a word of mouth. However, this does not come automatically. The company has to encourage its customers BRAINSTORMING REPORT 3 to do so through good customer service as it is discussed above, and through incentivizing or motivating them to do so (Berman, 2016). The company should start a reward or referral program for the existing customers. A program can be created whereby customers enjoy more discounts, free products, and services by referring other people to the company. The reward should be a reward that can trigger their interest and as a result, make them act. This can be a win-win method and it can work. Another strategy that can work is giving some free products and services. People love free things and it works like magic. By offering free gifts some people who did not know that the company exists will know. Through the free gifts, the company will get a chance to prove the product or service’s value to the customers. It gives the customers a chance to try out the product and this creates a possibility of getting new customers who like the value of the product or the service. The term ‘free’ is any people’s weakness. In their minds, it is a chance to enjoy something without having to pay. They have nothing to lose and there are no risks. By offering these gifts, the customers get to experience and see the company’s products and services which they could possibly not have known if it were not for that offer. Since the company cannot offer free products and services for a long time, it should establish the number of days the offer will last and the potential customers targeted. It should be a scarcity element so as to attract people. The company should also try to attract customers through deals and discounts. Just like offering free products and services, deals and discounts can work well too. This is a creative way to attract customers to the business. It is also a low-cost method. To people, deals and discounts are opportunities to save money and at the same time enjoy a service or a product. Deals and discounts also influence people to purchase more services or products than they had planned BRAINSTORMING REPORT because they are not sure whether they will get the deal or discount another day (Kathan et al., 2016). It is a creative technique to publicize the company’s brand. Another strategy that the company can utilize to attract more customers is to use a contest. People love the thrill they get from winning and everyone loves to win. People, therefore, like to contest. To ensure people know about the contest, the company can use social media platforms and also word of mouth. Even though not everyone who participates in the content will win, people will know about the business and its products and services, and some will be interested to try them out or to find out more about them (Scarborough, 2016). The company can attract more customers through a website. With the digital age, many people are so into the internet. With the huge internet influence, people are nowadays finding services and products through the internet. The website will give the company an opportunity to be easily found by customers. All the above-discussed solutions can help the company attract more customers. The company can utilize all or a combination of some. More customers will boost the company’s sales. Therefore, to solve the issue of dropping sales, the company has to utilize strategies to draw customers which in turn will translate to increased sales. 4 BRAINSTORMING REPORT 5 References Berman, B. Brainstorming Report

In recent months, there have been some conflicts among employees and between them
and the management in the organization. For instance, during one of the bi-annual meetings three
weeks ago, one of the company’s workers suddenly begun lashing out at a senior manager who
was doing a presentation. Other staff members' attempts to intervene were futile as the employee
confronted the manager about how she kept handling the most menial tasks in the office despite
her qualification and impressive output. Other employees were not sympathetic to the employee's
complaints as one could hear them whisper about how the man’s morale and productivity had
been declining over the past few months. Although the manager was able to calm the employee
down after asking her to take a short walk then come to see him afterward, the event was an
indication of the situation in the workplace. There was an air of selfishness and a lack of trust
among the employees and the management and as a result, conflicts were on the rise in the firm.
The purpose of this report is to find strategies to fix the compa...
