A mention of the name Holocaust, most specifically, in Europe raises nothing, but sad
memories in the minds of the still existing survivors as well as the latter generations affected by
its occurrence. The catastrophic event that claimed the lives of millions of Jews in Europe and
millions of other groups of biological inferiority, including gypsies, the mentally challenged, and
dissidents were executed by the German Nazi regime between the years 1933 to 1945. Even after
seven decades and beyond, the misfortune is still seen as a source for deep trauma in many.
Many individuals, to date, make efforts in tracing their origin both online and physically but all
in vain. The Nazis thought that Jews that had posed a serious threat to German and, as such, saw
the need to exclude it from existence. The occurrence of the Second World War favored the
Germans’ plans on wiping out the entire Jews’ population.
As illustrated in Stanford Prison’s experiment video, the feeling, and state of being
inferior leaves individuals vulnerable to harm and control by the superior party. The Nazis, for
instance, had assumed full control over the Jews as well as other selected races and groups of
persons that were inferior to them. In this case, the Nazis would brutally handle their prisoners
and often beat them dead without a second thought.
