INTRODUCTION
A company has to understand its mission, vision, objectives and competition in strategic analysis.
In the current business standing, businesses have to be differentiated from competitors. Therefore,
it is important to understand the value of a specific product before investing in from the consumer
perspective. According to Rothaermel (2017), companies have to show why their product is of
value to gain a competitive advantage. Nike has tried to leverage competition through a wide range
of products, effective marketing strategies, extensive customer base and innovative offering. This
is why the company can stand out despite stiff competition. This assignment will focus on the
