Description
Genetics amount to about 40-60% of your risk factors for disease. Lifestyle choices amount to about 40-60% of your risk factors for disease. So ... both are equally important. Take a look at your family tree to consider what diseases were present, what people died from in your family, and the age at which they died. Write out a family tree listing these out; you do not need to share all of the results. Instead, share key highlights on your findings that indicate your genetic risks. Based on those risk factors, what lifestyle strategies would you recommend if you were giving advice to someone in your family. Your lifestyle strategies your recommend should include nutrition and exercise. Your recommendation should be based on textbook evidence not opinion, so be careful with your answers.
