Most of us have situations in which we find it difficult to communicate. Improving your written communication skills and being comfortable speaking to people are extremely important. Develop a two- to three-page APA-formatted paper in which you analyze your personal communication skills. Be sure to address the following:
- Describe the assessment you used to analyze your skills.
- Discuss your communication gaps.
- Describe any additional training you need in specific areas of communication.
- Analyze how you can improve your current communication skills to prepare you for advancement in your profession.

Introduction
According to Ludden (2002), communication skills are very important in every field of
our lives and that’s why we are always encouraged to make sure that we sharpen them as much
as possible. We cannot pass or send a clear message to our target audience if our communication
skills are poor and do not meet the specific objectives. We should always assess our skills and
improve the areas that were noted to cause challenges when communicating with others in our
lives (Fielding, and Fielding, 2005). In my case I have been trying to analyze my communication
skills with the aim of finding out which areas were doing fine and which areas were probably
challenging when communicating with others.
