The nation is distracted by news of Senator Elizabeth Warren calling new presidential
candidate Mike Bloomberg an egomaniac billionaire on a tweet. Warren tweeted this presumably
because Bloomberg is funding his campaign with his fortune as opposed to many presidential
candidates who had to hold fundraisers to fund theirs. Several other Democratic candidates are
also going after Bloomberg fearing that he may have an advantage over them because of the
funds available to him. Bernie Sanders declared that the American people are tired of billionaires
buying elections in response to Bloomberg being allowed to run. The Bloomberg campaign
responded to Sanders by calling President Trump “Bernie’s new bro” and pointing out some of
Trump’s tweets where he insinuated that the Democratic National Committee was biased against
Sanders. There has been a lot of back and forth of this nature since Bloomberg was cleared to run
