I don’t know how to handle this English question and need guidance.
This is a research assignment and the requirements are to pick two quotes from George Orwell's book "1984" and explain the context of those quotes to support whichever direction you are taking, in response to the question: Is America moving forward towards the totalitarianism of Oceania or are we retreating from it? Also, two recent articles are needed to prove the thesis: America is or isn't moving towards totalitarianism. The articles must be from a competent news sources and cited in a bibliography in MLA format. During the totalitarianism of Oceania, the citizens are presented with no human agency or
right to think, act, or live in any way that they wanted to. 1984 portrays a world that is divided
between three nations under the totalitarian rule and each of the sovereign (Hossain p.26).
Today, it is possible that we are moving forward towards the totalitarianism of Oceania since the
technological probabilities of data collection and storage are worse than what had been imagined
by George Orwell. We are faced with the query on whether the fictional world of Orwell has
become a reality and whether the prospects are meant for a world that is much more sensible.
The surveillance state of Oceania works in the public as the great power has eradicated any
