Health and Wellness Story
nutrition and health of children and familyThroughout Chapters 5 and 6 of your textbook, we have explored many areas of health and wellness this week. For your Week 3 assignment you will develop one of these themes into a story or presentation for children and their families. To begin, choose one of the following health and wellness themes:Engaging in Physical Activity Nutritious Eating Illness/Infection Prevention Staying Healthy in SchoolStaying Healthy at Home
Next, decide if you want to present your theme as a story using Storybird or a presentation using PowerPoint. Your story or presentation must contain the following:A clear focus on one health and wellness theme from the list above.
Be written for an audience of children and their families
At least five teaching points that are directly
related to your chosen theme. The teaching points you share could be
facts from the textbook, ideas, strategies, or information relating to
your chosen theme that are important to understand. For example, if you
choose to develop a story based on the theme of illness/infection
prevention you might have a child who gets sick and has to visit the
doctor. While at the doctor’s office, the child learns about five ways
to prevent illness/infection. If you chose to create a presentation on
this theme, you would need to include at least five examples of how you
can prevent illness/infection that you want the children and families
viewing your presentation to understand.
At least five images, sounds, or audio features that enhance your story or presentation.
A resource page with at least three child and
family friendly resources that could be used for the family to learn
more information about the theme of your story or presentation. This is
separate from your reference page for the assignment.
Your story or presentation should be at least ten
pages/slides in length (not including the title and reference
pages/slides). You will include at least two scholarly sources to
support your theme. Be sure to cite these in APA format on the reference
page. Paste the link to your Storybird onto a Word document for submission or upload your PowerPoint in the assignment dropbox. You will also share the link to your Storybird or upload your PowerPoint within the Doc Sharing tab of the course. (Please see the Course Materials section of the classroom, under the Course Home tab in the left navigation, for a brief Doc Sharing video tutorial.)

OL 675 Milestone Two SNHU Organizational Analysis and Design Plan
OL 675: Organizational Analysis & Design Plan Overview The final project for this course is the creation of an organizational analysis and design plan for an organizational concern or behavioral challenge that is critical to you or your organization. Assume that you are the person in charge—the one with the power to make the changes or making the presentation to the executive board. This is the core purpose of this entire course. Place the amount of effort you feel necessary that can truly make an impact in your organization. Based on the knowledge obtained in this course and previous course work, you examine what are the new contexts you can create to inspire changes. Make sure to include topics discussed throughout this course. Main Elements Your final paper will have these main elements: Title page with the company name, student's name, course name and number, instructor's name and date. Abstract Introduction 1. Background: company profile and history of the related issue 2. Identification of the ethical dilemma: highlight key points of the case including challenges and dilemmas o Define the organizational context from a management perspective o Define the organizational context from a leadership perspective Analysis: discuss the problems and leader’s/company’s strategy Recommendation: offer alternative solutions via plan of action (include your role moving forward) o Action plan with respective theories in ethics and leadership Action that needs to be taken (make sure these are tangible actions, and not pure theory) and their ethical considerations. See if you can get your management to help with implementation. Action Plan (also provide a timeline—there can be some long term items; must have short term tasks within the next 30 days) including resources required. Measurements (how will you return on investment, return on people, organizational health such as retention and absenteeism) Repeat this as needed for each recommendation Reference page: Minimum of three scholarly resources from the library and from within the last ten years Appendix: Interview notes, if any Requirements of submission: Written components of projects must follow these formatting guidelines when applicable: 8–10 pages, double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and discipline-appropriate citations.
