Sure - Here we will use the Kinetic Energy formula: K = .5*(mass)*(velocity)

before we to that, however, we need to determine the velocity of the object...since it is free-falling, then it's velocity after 2 seconds will be: v=gt = (9.81)*(2) = 19.62 m/s

Back to out KE equation: K = .5*2*19.62 = 19.62 J

The answer is b.
