The documentary describes the world economic way since the first age of
globalization that was started in early 20th century. The first age of globalization was cut
short by the emergence of the First World War. During this period, there was no trade,
commerce or private properties since they were all disrupted by the war. During this period,
people had gravitated to communism. Globalization was opposed as allies tried to give the
defeated Germany unfair treatment. Hayek and Keynes were economists who had different
economic views about the economy. Keynes believed in strong market regulations by the
government while Hayek believed in a free market. Germany was squeezed so that it could
only trade with the communist countries.
After the First World War, Germany experienced hyperinflation that destroyed
