Personally, each diversion method that is sanctioned for delinquency carriers and employs the US Criminal Justice Systems core value, the ability to manipulate perceptions and behaviors through retributive and/or restorative justice. Similar to that of their adult counterparts, the act and severity should be instilled with the appropriate corrective sanction. Each intervention methods also provides behavioral guidance, aids in cognitive perceptions of behavioral act, as well as instills a sense of responsibility, however, the program is only as effective as the individual that continues with their corrective behaviors once released.Supportive efforts must be taken on behalf of the parents/guardian in order for the programs to have a complete affect.
