Learning about policy is important. One way to deepen one’s knowledge it to see policy in action. There are several ways one can see policy in action. City council meetings, mental health board meeting, school board meetings, county commissions, political rallies, etc. are examples of possible meetings to attend.

1. Name, date and location of the event
I attended a policy meeting for the school board at Hampton Inn and Suites Kokomo. The
meeting took place on 20th February 2020 from 10:30 Am to 2.10 Pm. The meeting took place
in the conference room of the hotel and it focused on the evaluation of anti-cyberbullying
policies and recommendations to make them more effective. The theme of the meeting was
‘Together Ending bullying’ but it had to cyberbully as the main concern since it is the largest
trend in bullying.
