Description
Please choose either an autocollimator or a laser interfeometer (homodyne or heterodyne).
Carry out a research on the working principles, detailed description of key components of the equipment you have chosen and industrial application. You need to also search related YouTube videos.
Write a brief research report on it. To get A, your report should have at least 5 related photos, links of 3 YouTube videos as well as the working principles, detailed descriptions of key components of the equipment and an industrial application summary. I expect a 7-10 pages long report including photos you have identified.

OUTLINE
Autocollimator
Introduction
Autocollimator refers to a non-contact optical device that is used to measure small angles
and tilt deflections using a very high sensitivity technique. Autocollimators comprises of
an infinity telescope, and a collimator joined together to form a common instrument.
Practically, autocollimators are used to align the optical apparatus and also measure optical
and mechanical tilts (Havran, 2016). Since the discovery, autocollimators have proved to
be crucial tools that are applicable in tool rooms, workshops, quality control laboratories,
and inspection departments. The high sensitivity characteristic of this device allows it to be
used in measuring parallelism, squareness, twist, and tiny angular displacements (Havran,
2016). In fact, this equipment has become a very crucial tool for engineers in numerous
stages of industrial manufacturing.
