Workplace discrimination by firms is a violation of laws and morals, yet some businesses
believe that discrimination is necessary for their enterprises. Hiring and recruitment of
employees is an essential aspect of workforce planning and filling any human resource and skills
gaps that may exist in an organization. However, organizations must ensure that they do not use
discriminatory practices to hire the right people. Standardized processes in hiring and
recruitment must be the key to dealing with workforce planning gaps (Tucker, 2016). In the
recent past, two American firms have been sued because of workforce discrimination in their
