a. Think of a business process that you have had to perform in the past. How would you document this process? Would a diagram make more sense than a checklist? Document the process both as a checklist and as a diagram.

b. Review the return policies at your favorite retailer, then answer this question. What information systems do you think would need to be in place to support their return policy?

Documenting a business process is an ideal way of presenting the steps taken to
accomplish related tasks in a business model. I have identified PayPal as an internetbased business process that I use to send out funds to my outsourced remote employees.
This business process usually takes in a few steps that can be documented with the aid of
a simple checklist (Zur Muehlen & Shapiro, 2015). However, for more clarity, the
business process can as well be viewed with the help of a diagram. On whether a diagram
