Abstract

Lynn tech organization is a software company that is currently experiencing strong internal and
external forces that have compelled it to change the way it runs its business. Some of these forces
include the need to adapt to the new changes in IT such as cloud computing and virtualization.
Internal forces include; the need to change the management style, the need to change
organizational cultures and operations and this organization has realized that it needs to change
leadership style, mission and vision statement, and ways on how to improve employees'
performance by motivating them. Eternal forces comprises of suppliers, competitors, state
regulations and economics dynamics.

The adoption of cloud computing and virtualization has helped this organization. Cloud
computing has increased availability, agility, flexibility as well as reducing the operational costs
and business risks. In case of a disaster, there is the assurance of business continuity because
cloud computing reduces downtime enormously. On the other hand, virtualization has offered the
following benefits; reduced operational costs, reduce or exterminate downtime, faster business
continuity and disaster recovery, improved IT productivity, Agility, and responsiveness among
