However, the conflicts between Alan and his work community did not have positive results. Why do you think this is? How could his conflicts have been handled so that they did result in positive change?Wardle seems to be arguing that Alan did not successfully join his new workplace community because he was resisting it: He did not want to adopt the identity that people in that community imagined for him.
