Question Description

  1. Explain which ideas for a personal essay seem more intriguing and why.  
  2. Compare the techniques your classmate used to develop his or her ideas in comparison to the techniques you chose.

1. Always include your intro and a strong thesis to tell the reader exactly what your arguing about. Then include that in your body paragraphs. For example if your writing a personal statement for grad school you would want to convince the committee why do you want to study at their school and the reason for that particular major on why you want to pursue that career. Always provide sufficient details and interested so that the reader will have an open eye and want to read your essay even more.

2. Always make an outline and brainstorm on what you want to write about, and create good summary notes on the topic that you want to write your essay about. This is extremely important so it is good to follow these techniques as in the years i have been able to be a successful writer this way. As a writer you select the ideas and information from each source as your classmates may use in a comparison/contrast essay for example. Then how you choose to write your essay depends on how your instructors grading criteria.
